Public Health Management, SRHR, Youth and Gender-responsive Health Systems, Grantmaking - INDIA

Dr. Abhijeet Pathak is a clinician and health systems expert with 20 years of work experience in grant-making, project management, behavior change, supply chains, health information technology (IT) and health financing. He is a published author and a regular public speaker on global health, with special interest in SRHR, Gender and youth programs, and has previously worked as the Abortion specialist for IPPF’s South Asia region. He served as Senior Program Officer at the Gates Foundation and as a portfolio manager for CIFF. Having led the maternal health support to a large state in India, and large USAID and other donor programs, he is deeply committed to amplifying local voices for local change, connecting them to global audiences - to ensure that local organizations can work as collectives and prioritize the unmet needs of underrepresented, under-served,  vulnerable and excluded groups. He has been part of the AFP journey through the Gates Foundation as well as Jhpiego and is excited for the new beginnings of TAAC.
