Elana Dhuse

Elana Dhuse (MPA) is a global health researcher with over ten years of experience testing and scaling approaches to improve access to quality care. Elana’s work focuses on creating systems that gather meaningful indicators and data, and using that data for decision-making. Elana’s work is grounded in designing learning agendas and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) agendas with partners and building capacity of local researchers to ensure that the data is useful, relevant and impactful to end-users. Elana has published research on gender integration in public health service delivery, nutrition, and health worker training. Elana has an MPA from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, is fluent in French, has lived in Africa and South East Asia, and has worked with both INGOs and community based organizations and foundations to improve access to social services. Elana is also a doula supporting families in the Washington DC area to navigate health systems and provide respectful maternity care.
