The Problem
Sustainable health progress is faltering due to declining donor funding and insufficient domestic investment. Weak governance, limited community voice, and the marginalization of the least powerful undermine equitable health systems. Civil society is often fragmented, limiting their ability to effectively influence change. Health commitments go unmet, and investments fail to reflect or sustain local priorities.
Our Solution
TAAC strengthens local organizations by helping them coordinate efforts, build collaboratives, and amplify the voices of those most excluded from health decisions. We provide institutional and technical support for the use of relevant data to drive policy, financing reforms, including for domestic resource mobilization, and to hold governments and other stakeholders accountable for their commitments. By centering local expertise and uniting civil society, TAAC increases ownership and ensures health systems are equitable, responsive, and sustainably led from within.
